To the beat of my tongue is a serie of Lecture-performances by and with a number of visual artists and choreographers.
During a full day session with food and drinks the artists will all do a Performance-lecture at studio 44 i Stockholm Come, listen, watch, discuss, eat and drink!

In "DE-SENTATION" Björn Säfsten, Oskar Landstrom and Sebastian Lingserius tries talking about choreography, while criticizing it, doing it as an activity in becoming. The whole experience is treating their aim to critical examine their own ideas about choreography and it´s borders. They perform a lecture, a manifest and an experiment. An event in making.
Come! listen and experience Säfsten and the dancers Oskar Landström and Sebastian Lingserius trying out a praxis in de-creation, a presentation of the koncept and theories that follows the work of the choreographer. How shall we deal with the notion of choreography?

with some of Sweden’s leading artists in the performing arts field:
Cristina Caprioli, Jefta van Dinther, Björn Säfsten, Lilith Performance Studio and Cullberg Ballet as they discuss their work as choreographers and artistic directors and their perspectives on art, artistry and relationships to the audience.
The session is moderated by US choreographer and writer Will Rawls.
After the session you will have the opportunity to talk some more with the artists and other new friends from the north during an informal reception.

In september the Idiots team goes to Blanca for a two week residency period at AADK witch culminates in a presentation at Centro Parraga. Being this close to the premier many things will be moving. Please come, join in, fill us with your comments! The presentation is free of charge!
On the 5:th of sep we´re doing a try-out of the tech residency at Wpzimmer. The whole team will experiment on spacial dramaturgy during the week in Antwerp. Building an overall idea and to get a fist glimpse of the concepts in making. Come and have a look, your comments will help us advance towards the premier. The presentation is free of charge.
During a one hour performance lecture Sophie Augot, Oskar Landström and Björn Säfsten shows excerpts and improvisations from and in conjunction with current pieces Fictional Copies (2013) and Introduction (2012) are mixed with an in-depth presentation of the choreographic practices and methods.
