At the moment there´s a lecture, a performance lecture with two bodies, two people, two languages that attempt banal, super-complex, inward-acting, unconscious production that at times cries out to the observer. Crying out pieces of language we understand we have seen before, but cannot bring together. Possibly what we are seeking is a language that the audience cannot reduce. Within this lecture-performance which is the context of this early showing, we will try to talk about this as well as doing it. Finding ways for us to speak and dance thematically the concepts that Language fools addresses.
To the beat of my tongue is a serie of Lecture-performances by and with a number of visual artists and choreographers.
During a full day session with food and drinks the artists will all do a Performance-lecture at studio 44 i Stockholm Come, listen, watch, discuss, eat and drink!

In "DE-SENTATION" Björn Säfsten, Oskar Landstrom and Sebastian Lingserius tries talking about choreography, while criticizing it, doing it as an activity in becoming. The whole experience is treating their aim to critical examine their own ideas about choreography and it´s borders. They perform a lecture, a manifest and an experiment. An event in making.
Come! listen and experience Säfsten and the dancers Oskar Landström and Sebastian Lingserius trying out a praxis in de-creation, a presentation of the koncept and theories that follows the work of the choreographer. How shall we deal with the notion of choreography?
The performance lecture is free of charge
